Mod$/hp
THIS WOULD APPLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE DONE DYNOS
1st, How much have you spent on the performance mods that are on your car? 2nd, How much horsepower have you gained from stock? 3rd, How much per extra horsepower have you spent? *I know some mods are for sound but include them *I know some a u lucky bastages got mule feed so figure in the regular price. |

Lol, I thought it might go this way. Spendin too much for to little is not a popular subject. Weird how our simple lust for power drives us!

For the record... on my previous car... I stopped keeping track of the $$$, when the mod total surpassed the cost of the car... This time I'm not keeping track right from the beginning! LOL!

OMG! Past the Original cost of the car? WOW!
But I do agree, making these unique is part of the deal. Thankfully they are still rare in this area and I don't see myself coming and going yet. Performance and efficiency are where I want to be with mine and there are many easy things to do like fluid changes that I feel make a difference and make sense. Some of us will never be on a 1/4 mile track, but that doesn't mean that what you guys find won't help or work on a car that is a DD or a garage queen. One mod I keep looking at is the INJEN Intake and the guys that are running them almost have me sold on it, inspite of what I feel might be a determent to me in this area, ie...bad roads and rain. |

I figured this up once, including the cost of my mule feed, and it's right around....
$100 per horsepower. Not very cost efficient. Not at all, lol.. yet, I'd still do it again, even if I had to pay for everything the next go around! |

Yeah Im trying to see how cost effective a new SC will be. At $5500 on the low side, and say 150hp on the high side thats $36 each. So maybe $50 each on the high side not including LTs. Now if Lingling ever gets them out! They sound like they are close!

Nope not yet. BBK pushed it back again, I have been talking to Phastek about a possible upgrade to ARH LTs. This is the only thing that I am waiting on for the car.

Yeah I am definately going with ARH with the SC. They have larger primaries and the quality looks so good.
