Switched from 87 to 93 and hm...

I've used up 3/4 of gas, and went ahead and put in 93 to see how it is. I filled it up full tank. The car seem to start up better, run smoother. Accel doesn't to be jumping when i press accel padle. Wonder if this suppose to be good. XD or how its suppose to be.

I drive LS btw

what vehicle do you drive? if it's not programmed for higher octane gas, it won't necessarily make a difference in performance.

You are really only going to see peformance gains from 93 if you tune your car to run on it. But there is really no reaon to run 93 if it is not tuned for it.

well i can tell different between 87 and 93 (or 91) can't remember. What's low huming noise when you drive XD. I'm going to go out and try to punch the acceleration and see how its goes. Manual said to listen to knocking noise. V6 is 87 and higher....

Update: just did some drive around, the rpm don't just jump around with 87 anymore. I don't hear that loud clicking noise when the car is idle. The car start up better. ride is smoother. I'm keeping this 93 on the car.
