Ok boys and girls...

I just got my cai installed yesterday and in a few days will be purchasing a set of OBX lts from a member. What axleback exhaust kit should I be saving for? I was looking at te loudmouth II but I'm seeing more and more downing it on here. I'm poor so cheap as practically possible is my target.

A resonated x pipe would be a good investment. Your car is going to rasp with the lt

With LT headers, much planning must be done, because they will turn a normally mild to mid-loud axleback into a beast, and paired with something that is fairly loud on stock exhaust, could become an unbearable raspy mess.

It depends on what you really want, and I suggest may looking through the exhaust sticky thread if you haven't yet and scroll towards the bottom of the first post and listen to some of the vides. I'd suggest listening to the OBX or BBK LT section as they seem to have similar "growl" to them.

Depending on what axle-back you go with, you may end up needing to add a resonated X pipe to the mix to calm it down.

As of right now I'm leaning towards the mrt 2.0 setup along with the OBX headers. Anybody have em that wants to chime in? Would like to know how it performs/sounds/feels?

Couldn't tell you how it sounds in person, but did you check out the exhaust sticky that I mentioned?

On a scale of 1-10 how loud do you think my 2lt will be with a cai, OBX headers, and mrt2s?

Again with resonated x-pipe?
