Front Cover Oil Leak

My 2011 LS with 61,000 miles was in for an oil change and the tech told me I have a front cover oil leak. Its under warranty and I'm taking it in on Wednesday but I'm curious. Can anyone tell me about this? Normal? Big job? Sign of future problem? Thanks for any and all info!

Thanks but its the seal on the front of the engine. Nothing to do with the struts.

I had my front seal taken care of back in November 2011 at 26K miles. I noticed the oil leak while performing a routine oil change. Took it to my dealer (Rodger's Chevrolet) and had the seal replaced under warranty. Thankfully you found it and can get it taken care of while under warranty still. You should be all set now for long term.

Had mine replaced once around 26k miles, started leaking again.....apparently starved the engine before I realized it, spun a bearing, now getting new motor (under warranty)
