Funny. I had my left inner taillight go out. So i replaced the two inside tail light bulbs with LED and left the outside ones stock.

My tail lights now blink sequentially like the newer mustangs do.
This seems to be because the two inside LEDs light up twice as fast as the stock bulbs, creating a 1,2 mustang style turn signal.

Thought i would share. If anyone is interested All you have to do is hit the sec/clr button twic to clear the "check rear left tail light" and "check rear right tail light" messages that pop up. I ordered these:

Lumen® PL3157CR - PlaZma Series Rear Turn Signal Replacement LED Bulb (3157, Red)

from carid.com.. They are RED and light up slightly brighter than the still stock outside bulbs. I get compliments on them.

Can you post a video? Are both of them the same brightness ( led ans stock bulb)?

Yeah I def will today on my lunch break. Tried last night, but i have tinted tail light covers and the reflection into the camera lens made it hard to see. Ill record and post asap, sorry about the wait.

Hahah yeah. Its true. From what I've read up on about voltage and the way the stock bulbs work, the life will of the stock bulb will barely be shortened. I'll update this post accordingly.

Sweet! Glad I was able to help. I think it looks cool. I already have to click the set/clr button almost everyday as it is, because of the "ice possible" message(live in MA) so that doesnt even bother mer. Love the white Camaros, with blacked out tail lights. I bet your car looks sweet with the black accents! Throw some pics up!
