Pricing above MSRP?
Just curious if people have spoken to dealer yet in regards to pricing above MSRP? IS $3- 5k normal for "market adjustment"? Also, any word on pricing? I figure it would be closer to $55k...cant imagine it costing more than $60k...With $60k, you got the Benz C63 coupe as well as Cadillac CTS V coupe territory...
Thanks for any input...Hopefully, I will be riding ina Summit white ZL1 w blk rims come March 2012 Will |

The one problem the dealers that place a "market adjustment" on the ZL1 will have is breaking into other car segments. (Hypothetical Example) If the ZL1 starts at $52,000, add in some options, $4,000 = $56,000, Local, state and Gas Guzzler Tax $5,000 = $61,000. Anything that they add to this, say $5,000 =$66,000. This puts it in CTS-V territory. Add a $10,000 market adjustment = $71,000, this is Z06 territory. I am sure that they will add MA if they can and I am sure that some people will buy no matter how high a MA is added, it just will not be smart money being spent. There are dealers that will sell at MSRP, you just have to check around.

I won't pay over sticker. I have a 2011 SS with a supercharger now and I will wait if I have to pay over sticker. I just got my Camaro in July of 2011 and put the supercharger on in August so really I have only had a few months to have fun with it and now it is in my garage for the winter. Like I keep saying I will wait till I can get it for sticker...

I still believe this car will begin it's life in the $60k range (figure $6k brakes, $18k engine, $35k for an SS you are at $61k already).
I am sticking to my guns that this car will be start at $61k low end to $66k high end add a $15-$20k sucker sticker 98% of dealerships will add to this car. Remember the SLP ZL1 goes for over $100k Sean
