Front bucket seats...
OK - so my 2014 2SS/RS has the heated leather seats as so:
I was looking at the online inventory for a dealership and they have an SS with the Recaro seats: I did not realize that SS's could be had this way with Recaro seats, at any rate... For those of you that have sat on both types of seats, how much "nicer" are these over the standard leather seats? Are the Recaro seats heated? |

I don't know if they come as heated seats as an option but mine are 6 way power and they are super comfy. I am not a small guy 5'11'' and 200lbs and I fit great in them. I had a 2013 with seats like yours and both my wife and I prefer the Recaros. I personally did not think my wife would like them but she does.
I would not trade my car just for seats though because you can simply buy them from any GM site or dealers. |

Yeah I am sure an added 33lbs of beef would make the difference between fit and not fit in these seats! LOL

The seats are heated. I'm a bit over 200 lbs but I have no issue sitting in them.

Not a power lifter, but ex-athlete that still works out and I have the same complaint. I could not fit in the seat through the shoulders.

Yeah I would say I have an athletic buildl. Not to brag but after 19 years of service I still beat the guys half my age on my PT test (well the 1500m swim some of the young guys kick my a$$ but I get them on the 3 mile run) but I am no power lifter so again I fit well in the recaros. |

How much is it to buy the seats after market and what is the weight difference?? If I remember right it was 2000$ option when ordering... Same price to buy later?

Its a steal if you got them as an option but if you buy them after you own the car and have them installed a quick Google search revealed prices between $1600- $2800 per seat! You might be able to find better deals but if you find them for $2000 for both seats you had better jump on that deal! |
