Onstar and sat. radio is the fin, AM/FM antenna is in the glass.

my 04 Monte has the glass antennae, and it works great, and it makes the car look SO clean.

I really (and this is just my opinion) don't see any real issue with the shark fin. Maybe I've just gotten used to it, but it really does not look all that bad. I just hope that there will be a flush mounted replacement filler for those that want to take it out.
