I have red pinstripes around flat black on mine. The red ties in my RS badges. If you want to match the halos maybe flat black with a matching pinstripe. This way it wouldn't be to overstated. Just a thought. I have larger pictures in my album.

I've seen a CGM with silver stripes and it looked great.

Actually, my stripes are silver but to ME they look white.. Maybe I should edit my first post. Oops.

yeah, mix in some blue! would look awesome! if i didn't get my ABM (wasn't sure if my order would make it in in time), i was gonna do CGM with white or silver stripes and some blue mixed in.

That's exactly why I liked black before I traded my Gray/Black v6 for my Gray/Silver v8.

Maybe I'll go back to black? Cant wait to see how your car comes out.

So here's my problem.

Gray/Silver blends too much and is generally bland, and doesnt match my halos.

Gray/black is impossible to see and I cant do much aftermarket with a gray/black car.

Gray/orange looks GREAT to me and I love it, but it might come off as a bit rice-ish as its a bright color not many people see on a gray camaro. And a lot of people I show it to think its ugly. I know its "my car and i should do what I want" but i dont want everyone else thinking it looks bad, so this is why I ask.

Maybe the reason people on C5 so far have liked gray/red is because we see so many Camaros and we want to see something a bit different?
Like the general public sees camaros a lot different than we do. We look at it and see every tiny aspect of the car. Other people just see that its a Camaro and dont look beyond that.
Just the other day I showed someone the modded halos, and I got the response "...yeah whats different about it? looks like headlights to me" Although the stock white is CLEARLY different from orange, they dont see it cause they dont know the car.

So what do YOU like?

yours looks good to me...it's what i ordered.

I really do like that orange on there but not sure how it would look in person. I am very unsure on any color besides blue because of the blue specs in the paint

i need to see some in person, eventually im gonna get my stripes painted.

I have CGM with Black metallic stripes highlighted with red/orange pin stripes to coordinate with the SLP wheel stripe and badge background. Awesome!
