22s in front with 18s rear?
I am running 22 TSW Nurburgring right now. I really need drag radials on the rear but my plan is to get the same wheels (just the 2 rear) in size 18,19,20. Was wondering if anyone is running 22 in the front with smaller wheel in the rear? I'm not sure if it will look right having an 18, the 20s in the rear I'm sure would be fine but I'd rather run the 18s? What do u guys think?

Do the 18s, it will look ok. Eventually just get a smaller set for the front.

Are you just going to switch the rear wheels just for when you are drag racing? If not then why not just sell those 22's and buy a matching set of smaller wheels? I think it would look odd with bigger wheels on the front. Not to mention it could really screw up the handling.

Not going to get rid of the 22s. They look way to good in the front, I never really cared much for them in the back though. I drive the car daily but 700 rwhp getting ready to be 800rwhp, I really need more than 305/25/22 tire in the rear

That would look weird with 18s maybe 20 but with that power don't you feel like that size is robbing your (put to the ground) power that's a lot of mass to move.

Can't have that big wheel look and expect performance.

Don't get the wrong idea, I drive it everyday the performance is just fine have plenty of videos of mustangs and vettes in my rear view. Car only sees a drag strip once or twice a yr. After I upgrade the rear I'll put Bogarts with slicks on it for the track. As for now like I said I just need more than 25' sidewall tire.

Not sure how it will look with 22" up front and 18" rear. I've seen 20" front with 18" in the back and I think it looks good with a nice fat drag radail.
With your HP level and 22" tire/wheel setup, it's got to be tuff getting a good jump off the line on the street. I think a 19" front with 18" rear would be a great street/track combination setup. Here's a rear view of my car with 18" F14s with 305/45/18 Drag Radials. Most cars give me a lot of respect on the street just because of my rear tire setup.
