Vinyl wrapping question

I need all the input I can get from all of you to know if its possible to vinyl wrap an black plastic intake tube? Specific airaid intake.
If so what would be the easiest way to do it

its possible... easiest way would be to "wrap" it round with a hair dryer... not sure if it will withstand the heat though....

you can try it might work considering it being a plastic tube and plastic does not generate as much heat as a metal but alot of vinyl will not stick in high heat situations like that might jus peel right off once you get to driviong a little

painting would be more reliable but more expensive i saw where a guy on here wrapped his whole eingine cover and hasnt had any problems so you will prolly be good but ppl paint their engince covers and use an adheison promotor for plastic which works great its what i used on mine

Yea I painted my engine cover n that's why I was asking if the intake could be painted cuz it really ruff would I have sand smooth out the intake for both ways ( paint or vinyl)
