Experiences with aftermarket companies????

I am ordering my 2SS in a week and was wondering if anyone had used an aftermarket company (SLP, Hennessey, etc....) and what your experiences were with them. I am not a tuner, and lack the tools/time/knowledge to add on the performance upgrades that I would like to get. I would really like keep my warranty at least for the 3 years it comes with, so any company that cannot provide their own or isn't supported by chevy might be out.

Also are their any performance upgrades that you were able to order from chevy directly when you ordered your camaro??

For a reference point I am looking for something similar to the HPE600 in terms of performance and price.

Thanks in advance for your responses!

No issues with SLP. I had done the mail away tune with them on my 2k TA. Car had one of the SLP HP packages and didnt like the predator tune it came with. Sent my computer in and they flashed it with out using a predator.

As far as keeping your warranty check with the dealer. I say it always a dealer by dealer basis. Some will some wont if they install aftermarket stuff.

Supercharger = voided factory powertrain warranty.

If supported by Chevy is one of your criteria, all aftermarket tuners are out of the equation.

I doubt that's a problem if he's asking about performance upgrades.

Back on topic,

There are a lot of very good and qualified builders on this site. Just keep in mind, what are your end goals for your car.
Just check out the Forced induction section if you're going the route, you'll see who gives great deals and fantastic service.

Yeah I think that SLP offers the warranty if you send it off (at least what I'm being told) even with a supercharger, but the price is almost double what other companies are quoting it on. I'm guessing that I may want to let the 3 year warranty run it's course before I do anything crazy to it. It will be garage kept, so I would only plan on having 10K or so in miles by the time I would be able to seriously upgrade. Thanks for your input so far
