APEX Air scoop and w/w bottle install

I do not have access to any jacks or anything so taking off the front driver side wheel is out of the question. I thought about just taking off the front bumper but that seems a little to complicated and all the other DIYs I have read say to jack up the car before. So I was wondering if there is a way I could install these items with the hood open through the engine bay if I was to take out my roto-fab intake and the box it sits in.

No, you really will need to go in through the wheel well...

You don't have a spare and a jack? If not, I'd be picking that up before worrying about performance mods (but that's just me ).

Well I have the spare and it came with a jack but I don't, wouldn't trust it, it doesn't look that reliable.

They are very reliable as long at you do it properly. I have used mine several times for mods, when I have to jack up my car.

Just did this mod except I did the washer bottle delete... shes a garage queen so who needs it. Very easy mod. Here is a pic that will give you a good idea of the cut line you need to make.

Thanks, I don't have a dremmel any suggestions on what I could use instead to cut through that. I heard it is relatively soft so would a razor of some sort work.

You might be able to get away with a razor. It is not a hard plastic... kind of rubbery and flexable. Here is what I used and it cut through like putter. The tradition dremmel results I have seen come out pretty ruff looking.

True, it also doesn't help that I live in an apartment complex and have to park my car in one giant parking lot.

Just take it over to a fellow UpstateC5 member's house. There are plenty of us who can help you out. I did that mod earlier this year.
