Is there a way to turn on the "fog" lights on a 2011 2LT/RS? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

When the lights turn on in the automatic mode, the daytime running lights (ie. fog lights) go off. (when the lights are off, the DRL are on)
The owners manual pictures a headlight switch that has a fog light button, my car does not have that.
Any insight into what is going on? Is the manual wrong? Was there a late cut in on a different type of headlight switch?
Any insight will be great.

Read the manual more closely. The RS package replaces fog lights with DRLs.

You could just buy the DRL harness if you want ten both on at the same time.

Thanks to all that responded. It is there in the manual and states that the DRL replace the fog lights on vehicles with high intensity discharge.

I have the wireless harness from fellow member fieldgoal00. It was a piece of cake to install. I have it sync'd to one of the homelink buttons. It will give you total control of the DRL's.
