Anyone driving their pilot car through St. Louis?

A lot of these being driven through several states, but havn't seen one mentioned to be around the Missouri erea. I know there are several St. Louis'ns here that would love to see it in person.

Thanks,
Sean W

We've already been told that there will be NO PRODUCTION Camaro at the St Louis Auto Show. Sorry, you'll just have to wait until a local dealer get's one.

Who said this? I thought Fbodfather said they would be hitting all the big shows. Did I miss a newer post?

Number 3, I'd also be interesting in meeting you for a few minutes if you don't mind. (somewhere in the St. Louis area.)

"Being that regular production starts later in February, how do we do that????"

I read that to mean until regular production starts the cars on display will be "pre-production" units, not actual 2010 Camaro's.

Someone correct me if I'm misreading fbodfather response.

Now I'm mad. I decided to stay in the Kansas City area after college instead of going back to St. Louis, and now my car of choice is passing through my hometown.

It all depends on what you call "production" or "actual 2010 Camaro's". What fbodfather was referring to full-on production cars which won't be made til February 16th. However, the cars being built now might as well be production and fbodfather stated that they would be at shows beginning with the Detroit NAIAS.

So the wording gets confusing but he said they would have the saleable pilots at the shows which you can sit in starting mid-late January

Don't worry....if we get the chance we'll droll on it some for you too!

You know, you could be in St. Louis by 5 or 6 pm...and hour or so from Lawrence-KC and another 2.5-3hrs from KC-STL! (depending on how heavy your lead foot is)

I got the name The_Blur by quickly making long trips. In the Cobalt I had modified, I managed to make a best time from Lawrence to Wildwood of under 3 hours and 15 minutes. Sadly, this Subaru's CEL turns on at WOT, so doing that is not a good idea. Plus, I have to work.

If anyone comes down I-70 or K-10 out of Kansas City, I'll buy them lunch for letting me drool over the Camaro in Lawrence.
