Smashed a deer in my Camaro last week - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well, last week I began my new job as a Sales consultant for a local GM dealership. After my first day of work I was driving home and bam Smashed a deer running about 60mph. After I pulled the fender from the front tire I drove her home. I just took it to work the next day and I had the guy from the bodyshop come over and gave me a qoute of 2300.00 dollars. I was rather surprised. The ole SS took the hit pretty good.

Ya, the SS did do pretty good for a deer at 60, I would have expected a higher bill too. Good luck.

Thanks. It made me sick hitting the deer I didn't even wanna look at it. But, the next day my sevice manager was like well now you can upgrade to a hertiage grille lol..

Looks like it can be fixed up pretty easy... glad you are OK, that is scary.

At 22yrs old this is the first wreck I've ever had. It was slightly nerve racking knowing your getting ready to hit something. I know a guy who hit a deer when he was in high school and he is now paralized from the waist down from the impact.

no good man. Perfect time to get a ZL1 front bumper and new grille though. Thats what I would do.
