I know this sounds crazy but do you think the IO interior with the rally yellow??

that's what i am thinking trying to disprove some of my friends stupidity by starting this thread. I am torn between getting a rally yellow with black or a white with IO possibly a CGM with IO interior. Some are saying to do the ugly combo above, so i posted this to prove to them they are color blind lol

You could do the Rally Yellow with black interior, and then add the yellow interior trim panels available through GMPP, that would look pretty awesome, if you're into yellow!!! But yes, yellow with IO interior doesn't work for me!!!

The CGM with the IO interior would look good....if you can handle that much IO. I wish they had done it a bit more subtle but still looks good.

I think it would be really different from the average interior so i believe I could handle it

If you think you can handle it I would go for it. Just remember the resale might not be good. It could also be good for being a very rare combo.

I do not think I will resell it will be garage kept low mileage

Just a quick thread jack instead of starting another interior thread. . .

I ordered a 2SS. . . Does is cost more to get the titanium seats than it does the black?

I don't know how much the yellow interior trim kit is, but the part # is 92221433. And as far as resale value on the IO interior, just look at what the 1st Gens with the orange houndstooth are going for!!! Big Money!!! I think it would be extremely good for resale, especially since it is an additional cost factory option.

That's what I tried to order but the dealer wouldn't let me. They said there was no way they could sell that car on the lot if my deal fell through. The dealer is a small family owned dealer and recently got burned on a vette with a red interior that sat on their lot over a year (I had seen it there inside and on a platform forever) and they ended up losing over 8k on the deal.

The only way the dealer would let me get the IO interior was to go to Black, per the Chevy marketing recommendations workbooks, etc. Since I had never (and still haven't) seen an actual CGM, and wanted the car, I chose the black. I have no regrets about it, only constant worries because our current black Tahoe shows EVERYTHING.

GM knows that the color combo would be so bad that they won't even let you order it. IOM interior is not available with either blue, red or yellow.
