CCW SP16a

Finally some decent pics of my new CCWs. Pretty much the same setup as the others with CCWs:

CCW SP16a - Brushed Finish - Clear Powdercoat

Front - 20x10 - Nitto Invo 275/40/ZR20
Rear - 20x11.5 - Nitto Invo 315/35/ZR20

Note that if you go with the 20x11.5 CCWs, you will have an issue with the parking brake cable rubbing the wheel (even if not lowered). Some have addressed this with tie-wraps. Robertway gave me the excllent suggestion to pop out the brake cable's inner grommet/sleeve on each side. This releases some of the tension on the cable and gives you plenty of clearance. So far the have been no issues with this solution. The brake works fine and there is no rattling, etc.

Here are some pics.

Obligatory stock 275 (left) versus 315 (right):

Looks good. Always loved CCW's. Got any closer pics of the brushed/cleared finish?

PS: What exhaust is that?

Thanks. Sure I have more pics! The exhaust is Corsa.

Here's a really close pic. This wheel came in dinged and had to be replaced:

RE: parking brake rubbing

I did the cable tie with a 3/8" rubber hose sleeve for grip and protection as a temp solution. Also, popped out the cable from the clip bracket to relieve tension.

I spoke to John(CCW) about this awhile back and from inspecting under the car, the long term solution is a PITA. Need to remove exhaust, heat shield and possibly drive shaft to push up the brake line forward. You can see where the steel line becomes exposed by the center brace and I'm guessing that's where the excess outer jacket needs to be re-adjusted.

In the end, I'll do it one day. Probably after suspension goes in, if I ever get my back ordered Pedders Swaybar.

Most importantly, NICE LOOKING WHEELS !!!

Love this setup. I have been debating this setup or a forgeline setup. You might have sealed the deal. Looks great!

It's the "Heritage" grille that is available from GM.

John told me that this could be an issue but that it should be ok if you're not lowering the car. I knew to watch for it, but after one 30 mile round trip to work, my passanger side had eaten into the cable pretty bad. The driver's side had touched but nothing major. What I found was that they had placed a wheel weight on the inner edge of that wheel and it took away what little clearance there was.

The good news is that the entire cable assembly is only $37 retail. If I ever get tired of seeing that damaged cable liner, I might replace it.

Will 11 wide wheels have problems with rubbing/fitting/parking brake?

thanks in advance

3BVert .......................

Those are the best looking wheels I have seen on a Camaro ....

Do they have them to fit the stock 19" or 20" tires ?

Do you have a link to best place to buy them ?

Thanks,
