Question Camaro SS Lower Grille fit LS?

Hello, I am trying to find out if the Camaro SS Lower Grille part# 92218015 will fit on my 2010 LS. I want to install the heritage grille and I like how the SS lower grille looks over the LS/LT lower grille. Thank you.

It won't fit. The lower grille has different dimensions.

You may try this for your LS: http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/camaro-rs-grille.html

This is what I have installed on mine, and here is a pic of how it looks.

Did you have to paint your heritage grill and the lower grill before you installed them? I was reading that you should paint them or apply a clear coat to protect from the sun.

I got my heritage grille painted from Gary's Customz (forum member orange10s.c.) but did not paint the lower grille I got from Street Scene. The one from Street Scene has the option of coming in black, which is what I got, or "polished" so I assume it is already painted. It does have a finished look to it. The horizontal bars on the heritage grille are unpainted, but the material in this area seems similar to the stock grille, so I would be suprised if not having a clear coat on it would do any harm, but I am not sure.

If anyone with more knowledge about this would care to comment, I would be interested in what they have to say though. I had not heard or seen anything about putting clear coat on these.
