Statement from IDL - Door Sills - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

With the bigger issues taking control of the IDL thread yesterday it was impossible to ask this, so maybe now is the right time.

The IDL said "Door Sill plates STANDARD on V8's, and available for V6's". Are the door sill plates they are talking about these:

If that is the case, what does the door sill look like without it? If it isn't, them what does the door sill look like?

It would look plainSilver, or plain plastic, not too sure.
I thought these came when you order the RS package, anyone else know?

These door sills are very cool, the bow tie emblems around the edge, nice touch

Based on your experience and maybe a "little birdie or two", would you care to venture a guess as to how much an accessory like that would be?

I think someone somewhere said it would be 95 dollars. I think this was in the GMPP accessories pricing thread that got posted a couple of weeks ago. though dont quote me on that.

I would hope so. Why would it go blank on a 2SS (highest model out there) once the RS is added. Wouldn't make since. So after paying top dollor for the 2SS and then paying even more for the RS, it would go blank? I seriously hope not, but we'll have to wait and see.

According to the workbook its not availible on the V6 at all as of right now, if its an deal installed option or something that would be cool, guess I thought it was standard because it's been on all the 2LT RS pics

Thats what i thought as well. If not, i rather go aftermarket and get one that lights up to match my ABL
