Steering wheel leather came off!

Here's a couple pic of my steering wheel.

but my steering wheel is fixed now. but my car had stay for a night at the dealership. because they told me that when they were changing the steering wheel they popped the Air Bags??? is that possible??

Sounds like they either didn't disconnect the battery or didn't wait long enough after disconnecting it. Might want to get it in writing from them that they set off the airbag since the computer records that info and it could come up on a report like carfax that the airbag was deployed making it appear the car had been in an accident. Better to be safe than have it bite you later.

I dont think they actually deployed the airbags, maybe damaged the plug on the steering wheel bag. When a airbag deploys it usually does additional damage to the vehicle due to its extreme force.
