Ran over a curb, need advice
So today I was going to the local grocery store to get some pizza for lunch, but I was enjoying the drive so much I figured why not drive it around town for 15-20 minutes, and then go back for the pizza (trying to get to 1,500 miles). So I pulled into the parking lot at the store, got my radar out and hooked up *Gets on flame suit* and after I was done I went to drive out of the parking lot lacking 100% attention apparently when out of no where my car goes up and down and I figured I ran over some rough concrete, but when I looked back, I saw a big circle curb that use to be there for a light but the light and pole were gone.
There really should have been some plastic hazard fence around it and judging from all the tire prints inside I'm not the only one to have accidentally ran that over. I immediately pulled over to look at the damage and it looked to have scraped up the bottom of my car good, big paint scratch on the bottom of my front fascia, I took it to a body shop and he says if the alignment is fine it should be fine, the alignment isn't great but it was that way before the accident, other than that it seems fine to drive, but I'm just wondering what I may have damaged doing that stunt, the bodyshop people couldn't look under there today, so do you guys think anything could be badly damaged?

Yeah but I was mainly just wondering what's under the car that could get affected, I drove it a good 30 or so miles after the incident, it seemed good going at freeway speeds, braking fast, alignment seems the same, so I feel I been lucky on this one, but I'm a noob with cars so not too sure what's under the car besides the exhaust.

I agree the only way to know is put it on a lift, probably nothing serious since its not pulling or losing any fluid. Thats a #*#%! set up curb where a light pole once was. Be careful out there everybody. Would have been worse if You had already modded the suspension.

I hit an inflated tire and rim with my vette doing 90 lifted the car off the ground but amazingly just the floorboard up a couple inches. I was able to stomp it back down.. you might luck out like I did.

Go after the owner of the lot, that should have been marked off or coned at the least! Good luck with the repairs.

Your car should be fine. You were traveling at such a slow speed the main issues should be just the scrapes and scratches from the underside of your car making contact with the concrete.

This is true I should have, not saying it isn't my fault but judging from the tire tracks I saw in there, a good amount going in all different directions, there should be some sore of hazard reflective fence in there, if I saw that chances are I probably wouldn't have ran over it.

Hope it all turns out fine. If the alignment wasn't great before you should get it aligned. No sense wearing out tires for no good reason
