Front Plate removal ??? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok, I have had my Camaro since November. I am sick of looking at the front plate holder. I took the dealer ad. from it, and it blends in some to my black car, but I just can not stand the thing. I do not know why in the world they would have installed this into the front end of these cars until it was asked to be installed.

I have thought of a plate to be done for my car. I was thinking of asking Roger at emblem pros if they could do a cool custom plate for the thing.

I have thought of removing it at a body shop, and having the holes filled with black plastic push in tabs.

I know I can not afford to have major cosmetic surgery performed for this thing.

Any ideas on what you would do, or what others have done?

I think I will do that also. I do not need a front plate here in Kentucky. So the plastic plugs will hide the holes, and only be noticable up close.

I know it doesn't help now but you should have made the dealer fix it when you bought it. I live in a state that requires a front plate and my dealer won't put them on unless you specifically request it. My front plate still looks brand new because it is. That being said, I am originally from WV, so I would just get a rebel flag plate for it.
