Need advice on this deal...

[TN 2010 SS]

I've been looking at/considering a leftover 2010 2LT/RS, MSRP is $31,355, but the dealer has added painted-on hood and trunk stripes and has raised the MSRP to $32,150. They will sell it to me for $28,500. The salesman says that is the lowest they can go, and that they are giving up their net profit including holdback. That price includes the current $1000 discount on 2010s and the $1000 GM loyalty offer. I'm sure they're still making some money on it, partly because they didn't use $795 worth of paint on the stripes. So what do you think? Is this a deal I should jump on or not? Thanks for any info.

Well, it actually is quite expensive to have stripes painted on. I had two done for customers and if memory serves me correctly it was $830 - $850.

It seems like that pricing is a pretty fair deal to me. But YOU are the only one that will be able to decide if it's fair for you.
