Electronic Throttle Control Problem

I am having a real problem with the throttle on my 2010 SS/RS (automatic). There is a very noticeable "dead spot" or delay in the throttle response on this car. It is very frustrating driving this car around town. I have had the car in to my local dealer twice and have talked to the GM regional representative. They all understand what I am talking about but say it is not a problem but a flaw in the design. They say there is no fix at this time. It sounds like more people will have to complain before GM does anything. What a way for GM to treat customers that are having a problem. I would be interested to hear from others that are having this problem and any ideas to fix this.

WHat dealer have you taken it to? I live in Greencastle and have had nothing but problems from Hicks. They stuck me on repairs to my truck. I go to Jennings in Chambersburg now.

May wanna try the L99 fuse pull trick. (search)

Other than that, a tune can reprogram throttle application, but may void the warranty.

I've been waiting over a week for a new throttle control for my Camaro which
lit up like a christmas tree (see pic) on the dash when it went south. Dealer has
been very cool though providing rental.
