I will do!
I've a Ford Puma in Portugal. It's a relative rare model there, and everytime 2 Ford Puma meet, they salute... When I've my Camaro, I'll def. salute other Camaros, Here in Luxembourg is also a rare car. |

I usually give them a head nod if they're close enough.
Otherwise, I do the a formal forehead salute with my left hand so they can see out the driver window, or right hand if they're on my right. If you have tinted windows... roll it down!

Caught another Camaro in one of the big dig tunnels a few weeks ago. We saluted each other making the exhausts roar until i had to take an exit!
No racing or any of that! Just revs! It was quite something to hear!

I throw up a peace sign. The other day I saw a car coming towards me that I couldn't quite figure out what it was. Finally got close enough to realize it was a C7, went to flash a peace sign and he was already giving me a thumbs up.

I think camaro owners in Chicago are really stuck up or something. My mom has an 89 vette and when I used to drive it before the camaro I would get waves all the time from other vettes. So I picked up the wave naturally when I see another of the same car. Fast forward to me getting my camaro couple years later, I'm most excited about being in that club of people, including a salute to each other etc. i get absolutely nothing. Coming at each other on a side street, windows down, my arm is usually resting on the window ledge, I stick my hand out and give a peace sign. Nothing. I've driven next to camaros on streets and when I make eye contact, give the head nod, I've gotten head shakes and they pull away. So disappointed at you Chicago camaro owners!

I usually drop it in neutral and rev the engine to acknowledge other owners...
Might not be the best way as some think you are trying to race..
