Name adjustment

Ive been doing some research on how to modify my car to resemble the name I have given it. I choose "Black widow" when I first got it because thats what I immediately thought of. My first idea was to go with the Marvel character made extremely sexy by Scarlett Johansson in Iron Man 2. I did up my cardomain page and started looking for accessories. Its very hard to represent a human character with a vehicle so I think I am giving up. (Unless someone has some awesome ideas)

I would like to go the Transformers route. It was the movie that introduced me to the Gen 5 and made me love it. At first I was even looking for the Bumblebee version, but once I saw Black with IO, I was hooked on it.

So I am getting some badges. Just looking for some opinions from all the other Transformer fans. Should I keep the Black Widow name as a Decepticon or should I drop it and think about something different.

The name has to go with the car and some kind of transformer name would not describe your black car properly, would it?

Maybe think about a custom paint job. Not sure how you would express what you are trying to do other than that.

Do some custom pain and web-like wheels (such as the TSWs). Start slow and make sure you like it first. Gradual is the key.

I was thinking the same thing. The only Black with Red I found was "Dead End" but I dont like that name haha. Bumblebee is no mechanical name by any means. That was my reasoning to keep Black Widow as the name.

I'm not really into doing anything that cannot be easily reversed, i.e. a paint job. I was going to do something on the cover under the hood. That material is something that could easily be replaced and restored to the original. Just in case these cars end up being collectors, I would like to be able to restore it to original condition. Having the original paint is always a plus.

I really like mesh wheels and am looking into some Asanti rims.

Don't worry about keeping it stock just in case it ends up being a collectors item unless you just like it that way. Painting it for a name change would be cost prohibitive for me anyway. Do what you want to you're car and when you're done name it accordingly.

I don't know if you ever saw the CGI Beast Wars Transformers, but there was a black widow character named Black Arachnia.

I had not. I was more gen1 and 2, and robots in disquise. This is exactly what I was looking for, a connection between my two ideas. Thanks so much.

I think you would have to be five years old to appreciate those graphics.

Something like that is just toooo much haha. I dont want to put anything gaudy on the outside where people might not appreciate it. The spider is cool, but maybe about 1/100 the size

Personally speaking, I think you would need to be five years old to appreciate officially naming a car. But to each their own. Must be an air force thing as they like to name their planes. I dunno.

The spider theme is a bit overworked on cars in my opinion anyway, let alone a giant hood spider graphic. I'd try to get more creative if I were going to think of a name for a black car.

But if you're bent on officially naming your car, then first one got it right when he said this...
