Installed my Roto-Fab today! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After researching the CAI's on here, I decided to go with Roto-Fab. They were great on the phone and answered all my questions. I paid on Friday and package arrived Tuesday (even with the monday holiday).

I got it out and put it in, was easy. I went to shut the hood and it was too high. There is a plastic piece on the CAI that fits into existing grommet on your car. I thought this was all the way in, but it was not....so this error was my fault.

This little bugger is a tight fit so here is a tip I learned along time ago. Put a drop of dishwashing liquid on your fingers and rub it in on the plastic piece....presto it fit right it.

Assembly was a snap and if it wasnt for my stupid error i would have been done in about 25 mins.

I recommend them for their ease of use and customer service. Here is a pic of my finished product. Sorry but the engine cover is off being painted as we speak. Should be back tomorrow so maybe more pics then.

IVE HAD MINE FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND IT IS A GREAT ADDITION TO THE CAMARO GOOD LUCK.

This will be my next mod. Waiting for their tax sale.

Looks good without the engine cover. I ditched mine, including the heat shield and support bracket.
