01 cobra supercharged...
vs, a 10 LS3 SS...all i have is high flow cats/muffler delete and a CAI intake... he says he is at 470 rwhp...now i dont expect to win this if hes at 470, how ugly might it be,,,lol.

He is more than likely running the Eaton M112 from the 03/04 Cobra, if he is at 470 rwhp. My old 04 Cobra had 455 hp & tq to the wheels and it would smoke my SS. Your best chance is make it a 1/8 mile run from a dig, if he doesn't have drag radials he will not be able to gain traction until 3rd gear, by then you should have a good jump on him and he will run out of time to reel you in.

I ran an 03/04 cobra with just Pulley, Tune and exhaust...I have a vortech V3 pushing 525 RWHP and just BARELY pulled him, maybe 1 full car length...so one of those vs. a stock SS...might not be so good.

I lost to a pulley, exhaust and tune 03 cobra convertible by about 2.5 cars to 130. Says the car made 457rwhp. The cobra covertible is only about 150 lbs lighter than my car. He had DR's and got a little jump on me. He only pulled about 1 car after I was hooking.
I would have won with just a cam swap I am sure. H/C and new tune and I would have won pretty easy. Driver plays a big role also. But I am sure with you car being mostly stock on the stock tune it will not go quite so well. Anything can happen though. |

Negative. The 99-01 Cobra used a DOHC 4 valve naturally aspirated modular.

My bad. Actually add in the '02 as well. I know I know you're about to correct me but it actually existed but not in the US. There was an '02 Cobra in Austrailia. Google it. Then in '03 the Termi rolled out.
