Think I'm stuck with corvettes and camaros forever

I relized this weekend I cannot drive without a HUD, I found my self speeding in the truck and kept checking the glass for my speed
I gusse I'm doomed to a life of camaros and corvettes forever "it's great" lol
Any one else feel this way ?

Look at those big dials in front of you with the numbers on them. The pointer on the MPH dial is your speed. I never really cared For HUD. I always turned it off in any car I ever had with it.

Got a Vette and a Camaro and no HUD in either one. I've heard it's a nice feature though.

You can always install a HUD in your truck as an aftermarket product.

Well I agree with ya JAB. I was ready to buy my baby in 2010, but held off for the 2011 model when I found out about the HUD. I'm glad I did. I find myself speeding in the wifes Trailblazer cause I just never look down anymore. I've gotten spoiled. "What, you mean I have to actually LOOK somewhere? As If." Lol.

Don't you need to have the windshield with the special coating anymore? I had a couple of early GM cars with it ,and the one got into an accident that broke the windshield. They had a hard time getting it because they said the windshield had a special coating on it for the HUD to work properly.

I have HUD in my C6 Corvette, so I wanted it in my new Camaro. I waited as long as I could till July 2009. I ordered a new SS then and now I do without HUD.

Damn.. I'm right there with U Bud... I have HUD in my Vette and my Camaro. U can have the shit scared outta U when U hit the gas on a CTS-V forgetting that U DON'T HAVE HUD... looking down and then realizing that U are already at 120+mph.

For the life of me I can't figure out why GM didn't put HUD in the CTS-V even thought they have it in the STS, and even the Buick Lacrosse

Guess I'm old school, don't care to spend extra money to not have to lower my eyes 4-6 inches to see my speed..... lol

I think most manufacturers offer cruise control. You might want to check into it.
