Intercounty Connector Meet

With the Intercounty Connector both opening on Monday and being free of charge for a while (2 weeks?), maybe we should set up two or three meets to see the ICC for free before we have to pay. I know I will be making that drive anyway unless it rains.

It seems most Camaros on the site are in PG and points south and east, and then there are the NoVa/VA people, so we should try to get all the groups to go to each other ones meetup. (I'm not trying to exclude any areas, I'm just not sure how long it would take you to get there.) One in Gaithersburg and one wherever it comes out, and if the NoVa/VA gang wants in they should be able to hook up with it easily if they come up either 95 or 270 - can anyone confirm the 95 part?

Well, I looked into this more and the ICC will be free through March 6, but I think the attractiveness to the out-of-the-area crowd is in question because the initial section open only connects I-370 at Shady Grove and MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) in Rockville/Olney.

73camarolt told us about a meeting on Sundays at Shady Grove Metro. Maybe meetup there and cruise?

Yea if you all wanted to meet up it is on sundays. So we could meet at Shady Grove and then cruise to the connector?

Oh and BTW it is not at the metro, here is the address,
Shady Grove Cruise-IN
16705 Crabbs Branch Road
Rockville, Maryland 20855
Every Sunday 9AM - 1PM

I can't believe I did it again. I was sure it was at the Metro station, since it's free on weekends, so I cruised around and went home. If you ever meet me, please verify I should have a license in the first place! You know, "Sir, do you know what year it is?"

LOL. Realy, who's gonna drive the first Camaro over the ICC? Anyone know the governer? I think it only right that a Camaro be the first vehicle EVER to cross the ICC. As long as that Camaro is an ABM 2SS - other than that, I'm not so picky.

I would be interested in coming down for a meet and cruise. I am in Gettysburg, pa, but it would be well worth the drive to get out and actually see some other camaro's. There are about 5 other ones up this way (which is sad). So I like heading down 270 and further to see who is out and about. Just hope this snow is long gone by then.
