RHD cancelled...

Could see it coming..

Still, LHD isn't too bad but it probably kills the car for me now.

No RH Drivers?!

GM has done so much testing “down under” knowlingly that they were going to explode their sales with a Right Hand Drive Camaro…
our friends at AutoBlog are saying; “Camaro RHD axed!”

It seems as if we’ve been waiting for the production Camaro for years . There are plenty of Camaro-loving Americans happy to see that Chevy’s pony car is finally ready for prime time, but some overseas aficionados may be very disappointed.

GM has reportedly canceled plans to produce a right-hand-drive Camaro due to the company’s well-documented cash crunch. The General will still ship 100 LHD Camaros to the U.K., just enough to keep the muscle car from having to qualify for type-approval regulations.

Good point, maybe they'll just have to wait a year, im sure GM knows that there is a market out there for them

We were due to wait a year anyway (May 2010, earliest) so I think it'll be 2012 now if GM survives. I bet, and it's not really a leap, that they'll have to prove the vehicle's sales (80k/100k a year) before anything can happen. I'd wait until 2010, but not 2012 - so I'll go hit a LHD Corvette, another 993 or my dream, the AMV8.

I'll still test drive the LHD Camaro but I won't buy one new.
