Question Comp Cam making car jerk forward

I'm not sure where exactly to post this but I just recently installed a comp cam in my 2010 l99 ss along with the ls3 conversion, 3600 stall, and new lower pulley.

Everything is fine car shakes like a beast which I expected, but when I inch forward in traffic it seems to start to jerk forward. It does the same in reverse and actually died when backing up a hill barely a foot. I shipped my car to Late Model Racecraft (LMR) out of Houston to get all the work done on it and tuned. The specs on the cam are 227 243 on a 112 Lsa.

Is this normal with a cam or will it calm down?

It's one of the things with an aggressive cam. Imagine it on a stick shift!! I drove an LS3 with the aggressive comp cam G6x3... dayum... You gotta be ready for the surge. Very hard to drive smooth. You'll get used to it!

agreed; i have the G6XB cam (aggresive) and the car does lunge forward; hard to coast in rush hour!

227/243 on a 112 Lsa ... I assume that the lift is over .600.... yup, drivability is going to stink.

wider LSA and it would drive much better

I'm shocked at how much a stock LS3 cam lopes. I have been asked several times if my car is cammed... not that I know of! Unless the gave me a freebie when they tuned it!!

I'm not complaining. It makes the idle sound that much nicer! I've felt the surge during low rpm driving, but either giving it a little gas, shifting to neutral, or riding the clutch fixes it depending upon the situation.
