I solved this my selling my V6 and getting the ZL1.

Try MRT 2.0 or NPP exhaust. That worked well when I had my V6.

Buying a ZL1 would solve a lot of Camaro mod problems!

MRT v2 sounds great on a LS, that's what i used to run. I bought the V8 version for my SS, and not really happy with it. Youtube some MRT v2 videos for a v6 and see what you think.

Or even a SS, 1LE... Your V6 will never sound like a V8.

It's a high compression V6, it will never sound beefy ...

If that was directed towards me I'm not trying to sound like a v8. I was just commenting on kaboom. I want my v6 to sound like a v6.

I gave up and went V8, the V6 is a great car but if you want a full muscle car experience V8 with Long tubes, high flows and a good catback. it is muscle car nirvana

Don't player hate Jantzen.......you know I'm just messing around.

Beside...the closest I got with my V6 LFX was using a MRT2.0 w/ x-pipe or when I swapped the entire setup with a full NPP set up off a 1LE....I even went to the expense of wiring up the NPP to be functional with a Mild To Wild controller.

OP....just search the LFX forums for some of my topics and you'll find some great info on this topic.

I have an SS, went with Cat Back Flow Master, and wow am I disappointed!!! They sound good inside, but when I had my wife drive it and I drove next to her and behind her I could not even hear it! I wasted my money. I also wonder if it's impossible to get the old school rumble due to cat conv. ?
