RPM roll cage questions
Does anyone have any pics of the RPM bolt in cage besides the one yellow car? Looking at that car it seems to look like the door bar attachment point up top is kind of high. It makes me wonder if I have it out and a passenger was not paying attention they might hit their face or shoulder on it depending on how tall they are.

I HIGHLY recommend that you give Craig at Xtreme Innovations & Fabrication as his work is unreal. Once I got my car back I was in a state of awe. Cincy Speed said it was the nicest cage they have ever seen as it is more like a work of art. Craig can do anything you want from a simple roll bar to a full custom cage. Please check my thread to see some pics of his work and give him a call as it will be well worth it. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143682

2010 Camaro RPM Roll Cage Pics
Hey guys, totally missed this thread. Attached are some pics of the RPM roll cage installed in Loud Pedals camaro at the Fest and one of Larrys.
It may be just the angle of the photo of TX_Shanes photos, but the swing out attachment is not at face height. It actually tucks back a bit depending on how far you have the seat back. Take a look at the relationship between the swing out attachment and the head rest. There is a considerable amount of distance between the 2. Please let me know if you have any questions! thanks John |

The last pic on the passenger side, you can see that the passenger seat is pretty far back, if not all the way, as you can see the tracks. The driver side set is in normal driving position and as you can see, the swing out attachment is tucked nicely to the side of the seat.
Speaking with Loud Pedal at the fest, they were ecstatic with the quality, fit and finish of this cage. I can tell you this, you will not find a better fitting, higher quality bolt in NHRA legal roll cage for the 2010. Its a really great product and our customers are extremely happy with them We have 2 arriving at their new customers garages this week...a chromoly 6 point coated in white and the SCCA style 4 point cross bar roadracing cage! Set your clocks for May 28th for "two guys garage" as they will be doing an install on the RPM cage as their featured product! Check your local listings! |

I actually was lucky enough to see the cage in a pace car Camaro at Lamotta Performance as they were installing a Whipple and it is a nice peice and I will be getting one soon. I would like to know if they can do a Black/White carbon fiber? I see they have yellow/black and green/black and gray/black. But I want a White /black!!!!

You mean a white base with a carbon fiber overlay? Absolutely! That would look incredible sick....no joke. For our project car, we are actually thinking of doing the white base with black carbon fiber over it. I think it would be incredible.
Thats another thing that makes these cages absolutely unique. Aside from their excellent fit and NHRA cert, the color combos are practically unlimited. Simster's cage was a blue with a carbon overlay. We also had a custom 1969 rally green base coat with a carbon fiber overlay on it. Sick! You can do a custom color match base with any hydro dip pattern over it. Let us know when you are ready, we'd be happy to discuss the options of the cage with you! John@trackspecmotorsports.com |

Op, I see what you mean. That looks like it potentially be an issue. My swingouts attach right next to the downtube. Not one issue in over a year. But mines welded in.

When I saw it in person it was not as bad as I thought, it is in a better spot than the pics make you think. I will get one as soon as I have the money back in my pocket, I need axles and a clutch too.
