Finally rashed her :(

Yup. Hit a curb a few mins ago. You can't really see it, as it's on the outer side of the wheel itself, but it's there. More of a hit than a rash, too. :/ This sucks, but there's nothing more to do now than to watch my cornering as I'm entering gas stations more closely.

Scratched mine under the nose parking after I just got mine. If paint is ok, may be able to fix. Sorry to hear though. Hell, wait for the rock chips to start. I have 3 good chips in the windshield. Will have to replace after C5II.

Did the same thing with mine about a week after delivery. Luckily mine was a very low sidewalk and it only got the rubber spoiler a little and not the paint. Let's face it, the sightlines in the Camaro just flat out isn't the best. You have to park and pull into places like your driving an extended cab truck.

That sucks man...I used to have the Alloy wheels and had that happen to me. Now I've got the midnight silver painted ones, and it happened again! Luckily, it was minor and I already was prepared with the paint and clearcoat. There is a thread of a guy with your wheels who repaired a bad rashing with sand paper and you could never tell.

Yea - did that too....unfortunately, let me warn you about parking garages as well. Those super high curbs rubbed the under-parts of my body paneling (the painted part you have to get on the floor to see).

(not my car obv, but the lowest part below the triangle between the wheels)

Yeah man, your view in this car is absolutely terrible. For one, the hood pretty much disappears from your view at the midline, and for two the blind spot is scary as hell. That's what you trade for such dramatic styling.

I've bottomed out my car 3 times by running over parking space bricks and curbs in parking lots because I couldn't see them for the life of me. Luckily the only thing that took the brunt was the undercarriage where you can't see anything, as the paint all around is fine. People wonder why I don't lower my car? Well, there you go. LOL

I find myself taking left hand turns wider than needed. It's hard to judge with this big front end.
