Does the iPhone app work on the 2010 camaro?
Does the iPhone app that starts your car and unlocks your doors work on the 2010 camaro.

I called OnStar Yesterday about this very FACT and I was told that there will be some more 2010's added this June (June 2011). They are aware of the dis-satisfaction of the 2010 Camaro Pre-Order owners and the 2010 Camaro owners as a whole about this issue. I also asked if they do not make this app work, can a person swap out the 2010 OnStar module with one from a 2011 one and get it to work. Also before anyone Flames Me. I was one of the first persons to add HUD to my 2010 2LT/RS Camaro and it worked as soon as I turned on the car, so do not tell me this can not be done. Where there is a will there is a way and there are alot of very resourceful people here on Camaro5 that can figure out how to do what they what to do. Case of point ABL, HUD, Rearview Mirrow with Backup Camera to name just a couple of items.

So, as a note to the OP - This has been covered extensively in other threads. If you're curious about the history and final decision, you can do a search and find the various threads over the past 2 years.
Aren't the mods supposed to clean this kind of stuff up? |

As for how much I paid to install the HUD in my car, the Grand Total was about $610. This included the HUD and all parts, 2SSRS's wiring harness, gas to and from 2SSRS's place, and two dinners for two.

So since I have a 2SS RS (2010), I can simply buy the HUD package? Where'd you buy it? Pretty easy to install?
