Ok guys, so my car was built on Tuesday. I also have CGM factory stripes ordered. The car shows as shipped, just wondering if anyone knows if the car shows shipped on its way to get striped, or if the stripes are on first, then only shown as shipped.

I dont have my workbench copy w/ me right now, but if I remember correctly, yes it showed shipped/bayed a couple times thru the process of leaving the factory to the striping facility etc. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell where you are at in the process. Fortunately, though, it seems to be going pretty quick through the facility.

it should show 4b00 at least mine did

GUys , Got my Car today and looked at workbench it showed still at 3800 as of this morning. and I got stripes also. Read my sig should give you a good idea. Does'nt take long at all.

I have a black 2SS/RS which was delivered this past Wednesday night. I thought the car would be delivered about 1-1/2 weeks earlier because the manager at my dealership saw that the car showed shipped status on the 19th of May and later figured out that the car actually left the factory to have the "factory installed stripes" installed at a location outside of the factory after which the car will be returned to the factory to be part of a QC hold group which they hope to have completed by the middle of June. Obveously my car left pretty early from QC hold since it was delivered on the 10th of June!

Hope this information helps give you an idea of what could happen.

Most are striped at the dealership but some (2) I believe are done before shipping.

CGM and White stripes are factory installed on 2LTs and 2SSs, i ordered CGm for my 2LT/RS so it is factory installed. Im just hoping that it doesnt take too long to get striped and shipped to me. There is no QC hold for the v6 and i only live 45 mionutes away from the plant, so im hoping to have the car next week. Cars have been shipped to dealers here within 4 days, but none have had factory stripes invo;ved, so i was just wondering how much longer it would take. Ill just have to wait and see
