WTF! Press in the clutch exhaust get louder?

I tried to post this in the proper section but not getting any traffic and no reply.
Couple days ago I installed my catback and noticed whenever I press my clutch all the way in my exhaust get slightly louder. this is really weird. it dont get loud like if i was to rev or anything but you can hear the exhaust getting a little louder enough to be very little noticed.
Also, when slowing down and cruising to a stop sometimes my rpm float at 1000rpm than drop once I am stopped completely. Is this normal for this car? I have a long tube, no cats, and full catback.
I only have about 3000 miles and cant just take it in to a dealer to get checked. I really hope that I dont have to take my header off.

Hmmm....that is really strange...

Have you gotten the car tuned at all after the LT install?

I got the usual cat deficiency code and no I did not get a tune yet. This is really weird for me also and I dont know what to make of it
There has to be an explanation for this but I just cant get it from a dealer unless I want my warranty out the window.

I'd say it is running lean and the cats not giving feedback to the ECM is probably got the ECM hunting and picking to try to get AFR corrected. Could be wrong though. Why delete the cats? Why not put high flow cats on?

Is this refering to my rpm floating at 1000rpm? I think this was happening even when my car was stock and I even remember asking questions about this before but never got a clear answer. It almost sound like I am feathering the gas when I come to a stop.
Most high flow cats are not carb approved and there's also no guarantee that you will pass emission with them so I just opted to go straight flow with zero restriction.

My engine will float at 1000 in neutral until stopped as well.

Check your clutch resevior. Your clutch "slave" maybe have air which will not let the clutch/flywheel to engaged properly. Low fluid/leak will affect this. I replaced the "slave" on my 98 Z-28 along with a Centerforce dual disc. When replaced, a full bleed was recommended. "ZEE" bit the dust in a front end shortly afterwards

Do you have exhaust or long tube or are you stock? The thing that scare me is that it does not happen all the time. I am going to check again when I hit the road but Im not sure if is gear based like it does it when I go to N from 2nd gear but not when coming off 4th gear, but I have to double check tomorrow and see if is gear based or if it just does whenever it feel like it.
I am still confused about my clutch concern tho..:(

The reservoir is on the driver side all the way towards back in a little white container right?
I always check to make sure there's fluid in it due to one day the cap just coming off with just a little push. I remember looking at it and noticed the cap goes on really loose but didnt think nothing of it since it look like like nothing was leaking out.
Last time I checked was yesterday and it looked ok. Now where is the slave?

I have intake and cut outs. It did it stock and it does it with the cut outs open. As long as Im moving faster than about 4 mph if I put it in neutral it will hover at 1000 rpms.

Other cars Ive driven have had something similar to this too, I think its normal.

man..i hope all this is normal or a small fix because it took me over 8hrs over 2days with cuts and bruises to get the long tube in, if i have to do this all over again just to go get warranty work i am going to die. i feel a little better with the rpm floating at 1000 rpm but i am kinda concerned with the clutch.

Clutch slave

The slave pushes your clutch. 98 Camaros with LS1 and Corvettes were interchangable. It goes behind the flywheel/clutch before tranny. Air will affect it. A vacum bleeder will fix it. Your engagement should hit as soon as you move your foot.
