Any alternatives to doing complete HID replacements?

Are there any alternatives out there that deliver the same affect as HIDs but dont require completely new housings? Is there anyway to use the existing halogen housing and add new light bulbs that are just as bright as HIDs? Im not looking to go w/ annoying blue lights but instead staying in the white range but just brighter. Does something like this exist?

Sounds like you are talking about adding some HID bulbs to your car. These aren't as good as adding projectors to your headlights but they are much better than the halogen bulb.

Look at someone like Ivan@SouthwestSpeed, or AAC or BfXenon for an H13 kit.

You'll want to get the Bi-Xenon kit. Trust me, it's worth the $30 upgrade. Also, spend the extra money on a reputable company so you'll get some kind of warranty.

Stick with a 4300k bulb or for a very slight hint of blue go with 6000k. IMO.....don't do 8000k. Here is a thread I put together a long time ago. Since this I've gone to a full HID projector and it's 100x better than just the bulb but the HID bulb is better than nothing.

Also, when I just had the HID bulb I couldn't stand the DRL being the headlight....especially with how bright the HID makes them during the day. I would recommend getting one of these harness to get rid of the DRL.

Thank you for your input, its much appreciated! I wen tover to AAC, will these bulbs work?

For $40 I'll be willing to at least try these but will these just plug into the factory halogen housing? It says H13 so will I be good?
