Drag radials

For you guys running drag radials how much of a difference do drag radials make. I’ve never ran a set before, mods are in signature. I’m going to be doing 3.91’s soon and know that my PS4S’s won’t hold much of anything at that point. My car is not a daily so I’m not worried about tire life too much. Since I have 19’s and selection is limited, I’ll do another set of rear wheels with 20’s or 18’s on 305/45r18 or 305/35r20. My question is would 20’s be fine or should I go with 18’s. The car is mostly a street car never seen a track before.

I just put on a set of Nitto 555r's (305/35/20) and although I haven't had many miles with them yet I've been impressed. LSA swap + 3.91 and they still grip well. Now that being said if i was to do it again I think I'd do 18's.

Keep in mind i'm a convertible so the extra weight helps.

Yeah I’m thinking the 18’s are the best choice, even if the 20’s would look better.

Ordered 18x10 f14’s on a MT 305/45r18. Hopefully these will grip even after the gears.
