TPM Sensors

So, I took the staggered look of my camaro and bought 22X9 (I think) all the way around. After a couple of months I decided to rotate my tires, so I did. Now the DIC shows that my driver rear tire is low but its actually the front passenger. Now, are the TPM sensors dedicated to a certain side only? In other words, is the sensor that came on the front rear from the factory suppose to remain there and can not be moved and vice versa with the others? I did a "relearn" but it still shows the wrong tire needing pressure! Or am I doing something wrong? Please clarify!

Did you do the "relearn thing" exactly as described in the OM?

You have to do the relearn procedure that's in the owner's manual.

Problem is I can't find my OM...I don't know where I left it after I cleaned the car out. Here is what I did, I pressed the Menu button and went to menu where it shows my tire pressure...once there I pressed and held the middle button (the button on the lever to the left of the steering wheel), it than asked me if I wanted to "relearn" I selected yes, the car honked and it started the relearning process. If this is wrong, can someone help me because I don't know where my manual is. Thanks in advance!

What you did was just getting into the relearn mode. I got my manual out. Here's the full procedure from the manual. (You have 2 minutes to do the first one, and 5 minutes to all 4 wheels).
1. Set parking brake
2. Turn ign. switch to ON/Run with engine off.
3. Go to TPM screen on the DIC. Press set to relearn the sensors. The horn beeps twice.
4. Start w/drivers front tire.
5. Activate the TPMS by either adding or decreasing tire pressure for 10 seconds or until horn beeps.
6. Go to passenger front and repeat step 5.
7. Go to passenger rear and repeat step 5.
8. Go to drivers rear and repeat step 5.
9. After hearing the confirmation beep for drivers rear, the horn beeps 2 more times to signal the end of the relearn procedure. Turn the key to off/lock.
10. Set all four tires to recommended tire pressure.
11. Put valve caps back on.

Tire pressures will not appear until you start driving the vehicle.

This happend to me too when i rotated my tires. When I took it into the dealer for an oil chnage I told them about this issue and they took care of it for me. So now the DIC shows all tires in their correct location.

Yes, just to clarify your question above, each sensor is programmed for its current location on the vehicle. When you rotate tires, the car will still think the sensors are in their original location.

Thanks nancygrl for posting that up for me and to everyone else for providing me with this information. I did it and it's working fine now but I still can't find my manual!
