Question on headers...anyone have these?

Are these any good?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46093

What I want to do is add those and then add two dump pipes right off the end of each and then have the dumb pipes welded to the stock exhaust. The dump pipes are like a foot long each. Is that possible?

Also is that possible?

And will I throw a code adding headers?

These are shorty headers and they seem to fit the stock manifold so I dont see a space for the dump pipes and the current septup should not cause CEL if it was installed in a proper way.

My advice save money and go for the long tubes man.

Well what would these bolt to? The dump pipes would go after these, not on them.

The pacesetter attaches to the cats. Your dump pipes would be replacing the cats. So yes, you would throw a cel.

The car will still run fine with a cel right? And if I get a tune that will eliminate the cel?

camaroc5 on here has the long tube version. Just remember, they are mild steel just painted black. If you can find a way to do your own heat and rust proof coating than it might just be a really good deal.

Pacesetter has the option for ceramic coating for only a few dollars more and well worth it. Their catback is my next mod followed by their ceramic coated long tubes and hopefully hp or hypertech tune.
