? about my order - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I finally got some information from my dealership, but I'm not sure how much it helps.

They couldn't give me a status code number?

They did tell me they have an allocation of 8.
And that I'm number #4.
And they've had 1 pulled as of today.
They did say they confirmed my order, and that all my options, etc are what I ordered (which I was a little worried about because I made some changes).

So does this look good for me? Or did they leave out too much information?

Sounds like you're in pretty good shape. One thing - do you already have a copy of the order Workbench printout? It will show your order number at the top left, plus the options you've chosen. That way you can verify yourself things are ordered correctly.

I don't have a copy of my workbench order. I don't have a fax and the dealership is a pretty far drive from my house.
But I did email them (this morning) and asked them to pull my workbench order and confirm all my options (which I listed in the email). They did reply and they stated all my options were correct (2SS/RS, Automatic, Victory Red, cyber gray factor installed stripes, black leather). So I feel pretty good about that.

I just wish I had a decent estimate of when I might see my car. But I don't think they have any idea.

Just ask them to mail you a copy of the workbench order, should be no problem. I did, got it in two days.

It'll be a lot longer than that to get your car. It takes a damn cruise ship 3 friggin days to get to Hawaii from CA.

Well, if they pulled your Workbench then they should easily be able to give you the order number. I would call them back and ask them to verbally give it to you. If they are unwilling to do that, then I would be a little suspicious.

As for an estimate of when you might see your car, I would expect that you would see it by July if the information you have is accruate.
