NPP exhaust Switch

Installed my own switch (didn't like the idea of Mild to Wild battery etc) So I made my own adapter and put in my very own James Bond style exhaust flap kit for cruising through towns late at night lol. (And longer trips where I don't want to sound to obnoxious)

- Car as ECS big blower cam, headers, high flows, intake, etc.... so pretty noisy when the exhaust is open lol

Here's a vid link:

Ive been looking for something like this. I pulled the fuse for now so that they are always open, but would like to be able to control the exhaust flaps. Any info on how to do it?

Yep - You can - I didn't feel like spending 100 bucks on it then worry about batteries.

I took a fuse - shaved the top away to expose the prongs. Then I cut the middle of the fuse (The actual part that burns out) I soldered two wires onto the now exposed fuse tips and added another fuse to the line. Then I just ran the wires under the back seat - under the carpet and up under the cup holder. Wired it all together and added the switch and boom! I can turn the flaps on and off (super nice option now that the car is much louder than stock)

Let me know if you have any questions?

I pulled the fuse literally 15 minutes after picking the car up...I love it! The only thing I don't like is how dirty my exhaust tips get...any advice on what to clean them with?
