Need help from the experts

What's up all.

I'm about to sign a deal for a 2011 camaro 2ss. Sunroof and rs package. Manual, hurst. Black, silver stripes.
Sticker is 38195. Price is 35999+tax and fees.

Questions for you guys:

Good deal? Bad deal?
Should I wait for the 2012? The interior is gonna be different right?
Is there anything else I should watch out for?
When I get the car, can I hang around? Lol

Thanks!

i got a 2SS/RS '11 brand new 1 month ago, sticker was $40,800 and got it for $36,777 + tax/fees...so i got $4k off sticker, and you're only getting a little over $2k off...You should be able to get more off since it's a '11 and the '12's are in production now, dealers are wanting to sell their 11 stock i assume as fast as possible

Don't underestimate the stupidity or overestimate the greed of a dealer

depends, are you gonna leave it alone? or mod it ....you can find 2010,s with 15k-20k worth of mods with 5k miles for 35,000...or pay 40k and and add 4k wheels, sc install and your @55...add some halo and led lights, another 750..i would really think it out for sure...

My MSRP was about the cost of a 6 pack under $40,000, 2011 SS/RS with every option (including the sunroof) I walked away paying just a touch under $36,500.

My trick was to put the binder on the car, go out of town for work, and come home to my salesman leaving about 5 messages on my answering machine basically sweetening the deal each time. I would have paid the MSRP, but this worked out better.

If you are comfortable with the selling price then it is a good deal for you, enjoy the car.

I personally am not a fan of the redesigned wheel and gauges on the 2012's, so if I were you I would certainly look to grab a 2011.

Yeah, I'm not gonna mess with it. I'm gonna drive it, park it in the garage in 7-8 years, and then take it out 30 years from that and rebuild the engine.

I wonder if there's more of a discount to get. I mean I didn't think 2195 of msrp was too bad. Does the price depend on where you are and how they sell in the local market?

That's a pretty good deal. The other change for the 2012 is the suspension, so ask yourself if you think that will matter to you. Price is pretty decent though.

Mine is a '10 but I would rather have an '11 than the '12. I just don't like the new steering wheel. The plus to the '12 is the new suspension. It's just a matter of personal preference and what you're willing to pay. I bought mine used so I could afford the SS, got it for the same price as new V6 and it only had 2300 miles so you couldn't tell it from a new one.

I altered my plans, slighty

I went with the 1SS/RS, which gave me a bit more wiggle room price wise for exterior adjustments, and added the ground effects and the Stripes from the XM package that run all the way down the side.

Can't wait to get it!
