Just wondering- when calling CSX or UP for an update- how often are the status' updated?
For instance- right now it says my car arrived to Toronto Yard Ontario last night. If it had left would it tell me, or will it only tell me at it's next stop? Also- do it update only overnight, or as it occurs?

Anyone have this information?

Super anxious about getting my car in and want to make sure I have my financing taken care of before the car even gets here.

Any help appreciated!

Status updates pretty much when it changes...it will update when it arrives a location, departs, arrives unloads etc etc.

It records as it passes thru....mine was pretty much all non stop once it hit Calgary but they do stop at side railings for lunch!

Matt! I think I am in need of my railcar number now!!! I have been shipped! It says I was shipped yesterday!!!

Thanks guys!
I checked it this morning when I woke up and it had an update that it left the yard at like 745 or so (eastern) and I called at about 700 (central)
So it looks like it updates pretty damn fast.

At my dealership, the sales manager and general manager are the only ones that can get this stuff and track cars...no the actual sales person.. I called the sales manager, she was busy, called back, and receptionist put a note on her desk saying to call me and why..
No call yet. This was at around 1. Im not complaining or anything, im just anxious to know the time of arrival if that makes sense.

Does anyone know the location the railcars pass into the US?

The only spots I can see on a map would require each railcar to be off the tracks and put on a ferry or something to cross over the river into the US.

Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot.

I should specify- crossing over into Michigan. (The car is coming to TX)

Just checked it again to see which path it's taking- it says status not available.
WTF does that mean?

2 hours ago it passed through London, ON.
Trying to see if it is going through Sarnia, ON or Windsor, ON.
