Its nice to read there comments about the cars, but in reality, take them with a grain of salt. The performance numbers will change quite a bit once the magazines have one of these cars in there test fleets. From what I can see, the currents tests were done at one area with all the publications invited to attend, I've seen this with new motorcycle magazine tests. Once Car and Driver and the like have a car in there fleet for serious testing, you will see what they can really do. I'm thinking GM High-Tech or someone that tests at tracks like Englishtown Raceway in NJ will put down some serious numbers for us to drool over. Enjoy the reading, but don't take to much to heart, it will only get better!

Word. It almost sounds like many of these tests were from last summer. I don't think final calibrations were completed by then. I know GMHTP will get an easy 12.8 or a little better.

Sorta, it as CTF cars in Detroit in the winter. Most adjusted the times for the air temp (therefore engine power) but that does nothing to account for the lack of grip.

And of course these reviews are much of "personel opinion" , subjective in some cases. The times are what they are but how did they get there, experience...training.....whatever. Not like they owned the car! First impressions are not always complimentry. What one says today can completely change for better or for worse tomorrow, so I agree,,,,take the reviews with a grain of salt and take the chance to do your own review = so if you haven't yet, get out to your local dealer and order a 2010 Camaro ..... SS !
Where's the spell checker ??
