TSP- HEADS/CAM/Fast102/NK102/UD 481rwhp 426rwtq
Only time will tell on my car, this is the last of the full bolt ons.
The car is a 2011 M6 LS3. The car has the following mods done TSP cam 229/236 Kooks 1 7/8 headers XSPower 3" cat back exhaust no cats Roto-fab CAI Previous dyno before on stock 20's 475rwhp 431 rwtq on dyno-jet. The mod's that were added TSP CNC heads LS7 lifters FAST 102 NK 102 TB TSP underdrive pully RX catch can and breather This dyno with my 22' COR V4 rims, was 481rwhp and 426rwtq Not really sure how much 22's eat power, but sure didnt expect that much. Really thought it would be at 500 with all the supporting mods I have. This was also tuned on a different dyno than before. Didnt know that was the deal or I would have said tune it on the original dyno, so I know the gains. Either way, not to happy with the numbers. Think I will be changing out the cam, to G6X3. Was also informed when my heads where sent back to TSP, that 2 of my PRC springs where broke. Considering the car had 5K on the whole set up and didnt hit rev-limiter or abuse it like that kind of surprised that happened at all. Not sure how or what would have caused that to happen. Car also has, BMR split drop 1 1/4 and 1". Also has BRM front and rear sway bars. Looking to add, axles, driveshaft, clutch, nx 200 shot. Also all BRM suspension pieces. The car will have a dedicated set of rims/tires for racing. The 22's are just for show and to have fun. J

I would of thought you would have been over 500 with the intake and heads.

Something is definitely not right...I put down damn close to that with my mods, same as yours without heads, FAST intake, or TB. I would think that on a LS3 you would throw down closer to 525rwhp.

But all together, even if your 22's robbed you of say 20hp, you're looking at a whopping gain of 25hp. ![]() Not criticizing, I would just like to know if the ported heads, FAST and NW are worth it. The heads alone should be 25+. Also, are you happy with the tune on the FAST and NW? Lots of complaints about low end gasping, etc. Other say it's no problem to tune, but who knows? Padre |

I wanted to do this build to see what it would net. I knew wasn't much, but seems everyone on these cars go blower set up. I decided if I do that later on it will be a pro-charger on serious boost. As for the car I get it back this evening. So can answer that once I drive it a little this week. I have heard the fast and nk tb are hard to tune also. But the guy I know tuning it has done this before so pretty confident in his abilities. He has always worked on my car and several 900+ builds. This car is my toy and just to have fun with. But looks like it is time to step up the cam to G6X3, but will have it checked for PTV for sure. Just really looking for over 500 on motor and if needed spray a 200 shot. I like nitrous for the torque |

JetG first off all that is one bad ride you got there. I have heard some not so good things about those PRC springs. I have the LG cam you can see from my sig below. I can't see those 22's robbing that much power. I figured you would well over 500rwhp with all that you have done.

Also, if you were already at 475 with the cam, that's... awesome. From what I've seen hitting that 500 mark is pretty tough. For another cam to do that, when the TSP stage 3 cam (231/236) only gets 10hp more than the stage 2 (229/236), I wish you luck, but I'm guessing it would be a lot more radical. Call Ed Curtis @ FTI and have him do a custom for your setup. (He did my 408 GTO and it was radical.)Keep up the good work, sweet ride. Oh, and get thee to the track. ![]() I'm going this weekend for my last bolt-on (non-heads/cam) attempt at 11's.Padre |

Thanks for the compliments, it is a nice car. I figured it wasn't going to be easy to get to the 500 mark. But figured I had all the pieces to do it with in this build. I think the only addition that would change the scenario would be mezler water pump and the lg cam. I have no idea how the car drives yet or not as I have not picked it up. Dyno numbers are just that dyno numbers, till it runs the time it is really only a tuning tool. But still want over the 500 on motor and spray a 200 shot.
