Roof Ditch Molding - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wondering about the roof molding strip and if it really is worth paying the extra $$ to get the RS pkg and get the color molding or is the black molding no big deal. It will be a killer car no matter what, just wanted see hear someone's else opion.

I say yes it would be worth it. Go for it. If you dont you will wish you had later.

Well, everything on the RS package is cosmetic, so whether it's worth it or not is completely subjective.

I opted out of the sunroof beacuse the ditch wouldn't be there.

To me, the RS package is all about the HIDs and halos. Roof ditch molding can be either color, it doesn't really matter to me...... but if I were you, I would consider the headlights (and the darkened tail lights) the bigger part of the equation.

The cost of the RS package option has more to do with the headlights and halos than the moldings.
